• Q: Why recycle my Washer Dryer Car and steel scrap?
•  Why not just throw them away?
  A: The main reason why you should recycle instead of just throwing away your wasers dryers fridges and cars hazardous materials inside the electronic components such as:
  Cadmium, Lead,  Mercury, freon,oil,antyfreeze,and break flued which could potentially leach into the ground and possibly into our drinking water. This can be hazardous to your health and the environment. Therefore a traditional landfill cannot be used.
  We live in the electronic era, as technology continues to evolve and products become increasingly affordable, the demand continues to grow. There fore there are literally millions of tuns of junk being disposed of every year. If properly recycled the amount of trash sent to our landfills will be just that much less . Top

• Q: Where can I drop of my cars,frigdes and steel scrap, do you offer a pickup service?
  A: We will pick up from any businesses in the Portland Metro area. Residential pick-up service is also available for a fee of $15.00. Redundant Items can also be dropped of at our facility at the address below:

• Q: When will my items be picked up?
  A: Your items scheduled for recycling will be pickup anywhere between 1 and 3 days. In some case it might take longer depending on our workload, where you live and how many other pickups we have in the area.  Top

• Q: I don't live in the Portland Metro area (Oregon), do you offer nationwide recycling
  A: Simplymarvelousrecycling will accept all electronic and Steel and fero metal related equipment shipped to our warehouse in Portland Oregon. Currently all of our pick-ups are done by national shipping companies (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Trucking companies, etc.). We can help to locate a shipping company to deliver your equipment.
   All equipment must be pre-packaged and ready for shipping before pickup. Shipping costs needs to be prepaid before equipment reaches our facility in Hillsboro Oregon. Unlike most of our competitors we do not charge for everything we receive, only the nonworking items. This can save a company hundreds or even thousands of dollars in disposal costs alone. • Q: Other recyclers are charging to recycle. Why does Simplymarvelousrecycling accept some items for free?
  A:Simplymarvelousrecycling believe that people are more likely to properly recycle their retired equipment if it is affordable. Not every person or company has a large budget set aside for the recycling of their used equipment. Granted we are not able to accept every item for free. For example, we charge for Refrigerators they are not cost effective recycle. What we do is just pass on the recycling charges to you without jacking up the price. • Q: What payment options are available for my recycling services?
  A: We accept company check, Cash and all Major Credit cards which includes Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. You can also pay using your Pay-pal or Google account. Top
  
• Q: What if the equipment that I have is still in good working condition?
  A: If you want to donate items that are relatively new and sound, please let us know, and we will give them to an organization for refurbishment and re-use. Top
  
• Q: Do you accept Cars and RV's tracktors,farm equipment?
  A: Yes, unfortunately we have to charge a fee for each refridgerator set as it's costly to extract the toxic components.

  Q: What are the US government regulations on recycling Steel Junk and other fero metals?
  A: The US government has recognized that there is a problem and is going through the appropriate steps to correct this issue. Different laws are coming into effect every year about how to recycle electronics. Not every state has strictly enforced good recycling practices. Each state can have different rules and regulations about recycling so please check with your local EPA office for details. Top
